Tawse Sketches Riesling 2014 (Ontario) - Wine Review

I opened up this delightful Ontario Riesling on Monday night to celebrate Victoria Day. This white wine was purchased from the February 18 VINTAGES Release and is widely available throughout the province.

Screw cap. Highly aromatic nose offers petrol, limestone mineral, tart lime citrus, and hints of white peach. The palate offers lovely aromas replays along with some honeyed melon notes. Very chalky mineral texture. Energetic acids keep everything fresh and balanced. Excellent length on the mineral-driven, lip-smacking finish. Highly recommended buy. Score: 91 pts
